| We came back from a short vacation and our housekeeper, Agnes (pictured in the bottom with Mardigan, they are inseparable) told us that she had to show us something. She gets the broom and takes it over by Mardigans food bowl, sits down (like I am in the above photo) and sure enough, Mardigan starts snatching up his food! He usually waits and doesn't eat right away, it's super obnoxious. She then tells me in French that she thinks Mardy is AFRAID of the broom. I laughed and said okay, thank you, good idea! Of course, I know that he isn't AFRAID, he is being a brat and really just thinks 'Mr. Broom' is going to snatch up his kibble before him! He needs competition like that, haha. Anyhow - we have now progressed to only occasionally needed to get Mr. Broom out and setting him against the nearby wall. These are some photos of the progression over the past few weeks... |
