Welcome to our site! We have had enough requests of our recipes that I finally decided to organize and start writing them down. I have absolutely no professional cooking experience but have comparable passion and creativity in the cuisine! I often put my husband, Jonathan to work chopping and taste-testing in the cuisine. I know he loves to be a part of it and always loves the result.  (Husbands love being the 'taste-tester').  Of course our dog Mardigan is always in the cuisine helping out as well.  (It's always exciting to have those furry four-legged chefs sit there in silence and judge you while the cooking takes place).  We focus on using healthy and local ingredients.  I'm excited to have you all learn and try our recipes. And as we travel there will be new ingredients and new themes.  Please give us any/all feedback!


-For Potential Risk-Taking Chefs-
Anyone can cook! You all have potential.  You just have to be able to relax and have confidence. Who cares if you mess up or something tastes bad - you can always fix it or start over...No biggie! Learn from your mistakes in the cuisine.  One thing you must know from my recipes is that I rarely/NEVER measure anything. I never go 'by the book' or the proper way to do something. I'm a real person, not a professional chef.  I am resourceful and use what we all have in our cuisines.  I absolutely admire the Food Network stars.  Some of my favorite are Giada De Laurentiis, Ina Garden, Bobby Flay, Sunny Anderson, Anne Burrell and the Neely's. If you ever get a chance to watch any of those chefs you can learn SO much from them. One final thing: ALWAYS taste. Do not be scared to taste your food.  It is your masterpiece so control it!  How great would you feel to have compliments on the homemade appetizers at the next party you host? It is such a warm and satisfying accomplishment.  Get in there and get cooking! My motto is "just have fun and take risks!"
