Asparagus Tips with Lemon and Garlic


Ingredients: 2 bunches of Asparagus, 2 Lemons, 4 cloves of garlic, Salt, Pepper, Garlic Salt, Freeze-Dried Chives, Butter

-In sauce pan place 1/2 cup water and both lemons sliced (after washing and removing seeds). Bring to boil and reduce to simmer. Salt and Pepper. Add 2 dashes of freeze-dried chives.  Peel and only SMASH the garlic cloves. Place in simmering water. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
-Rinse and cut asparagus. Place tips in pan and cover for 3-4 minutes. Stir and add dash of garlic salt and 1 spoonful of Butter. Cover again. Asparagus are finished when tender and you are able to stick a fork through them easily.
-Cool and serve. You can eat the entire lemon pieces for a nice citrus bite!

Jonathan's recommendation: Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top!
