Ingredients: Plantains, Salt, Pepper, Oil, Italian Seasoning, Creole Seasoning, Cayenne Pepper, Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
-Slice sides of the Plantain. *It will not peel like a banana *Be careful, the greens of the plantains give a purple juice that will stain unless cleaned with bleach.
-Cut however you prefer. *The pictures are cubed and sliced.
-Heat a spoonful of olive oil in a pan on medium to high heat.
-Add plantains to pan.
-Season with Salt, Pepper, Italian seasoning, Creole seasoning, Crushed Red Pepper Flakes and a dash of Cayenne Pepper.
-Cook for approximately 5-8 minutes depending on the size of your cuts. You will know when they are finished when there is a golden brown crispy layer on the outside of the plantains.
-These are not very good re-heated so eat them all!
